Sometimes the Lord causes the rains of His spirit to come and puddles start to form. If it continues to rain the puddles become pools of water, then small lakes, and so on. But sometimes we become prideful even over a few puddles, then the sun comes out and without the rains, the puddles dry up.
One must ask, what was the revelation and word of the Lord spoken unto you?
